Anybody want to put together a night run before it starts getting cold and wet?

I heard yesterday it’s going to be a hot dry winter, at least down south.

OK Agreed, So anybody want to do a night run while it's still hot and dry? I roasted my butt yesterday out in Florence, need altitude or sundown to enjoy the dust...LOL

Ok, lets plan for the 24th... Where are we going? Any ideas?

Out on Millsite Canyon and back on Montana Mountain? Or the entire Montana Mountain Loop? Pretty easy, ratings of 2.5 and 3.0... Our last run was 3.5 if you bypassed and 4.5 if you didn't.

East Valley, North of the Boyce Thompson Arboretum.

Millsite Canyon parallels part of Montana Mountain.

I might be able to make Oct 24th! Just waiting on a few more parts but did a small shake down yesterday with no big issues!

Peruse youtubes and the trail book (page 136) for said trail. I'm down for a night run there. Weather cools down, jeep will be naked

Montana loop is shown in blue in this pic. a slight detour takes you to pucker ridge. I found the mini grand canyon and the stone corral, but i could not find anything else.

I will definitely try to make this one! Buying a new house and in the process of selling ours as well but that weekend is free as of now. I’ll keep an eye on this!

So how are we looking for next Sat (24th)?
Front locker is in, looking for a reason to try it out...

You'll be downright unstoppable now!!! I don't think this trail will use a locker...
