My spare tire is a 37x12.50 and it is on the back of my jeep. All i hear is the tire or the mount rattling from about 10mph-45mph.It is not loose anywhere that i can tell, I have looked it over good trying to find the rattle and can't seem to locate it. Does anyone else have this problem with their mount or tire. Also does anyone feedback on one mount vs the other. I think it might just be the size tire and something im going to have to get used to not real sure. Any feedback is much appreciated. Thanks in advance

its not made to handle that size of tire...get a new bumper with mounted tire carrier

I had my 33" spare on the tailgate with a rugged ridge mount for a year and a half, It always rattled and started wearing through the sheet metal. The tailgate was just never meant to carry that kind of weight so I took it off, I'll only put it on when I go wheeling out of town now.

If you really want to carry a spare I recomend a rear bumper with swing away tire carrier

If you're going to run 37's it's high time to invest in a real bumper/frame mounted tire carrier. The tailgate will never stand up to the beating.
