Long story short.
So, I was hitting a local trail and I came across what seemed like a small area of mud, maybe a foot or 2 deep. Well I got stuck, mud was just up to the top of the wheel well. Tried to wiggle out, no dice. I shut her off, and had a buddy pull me out. Immediately after I got out I got a CEL and on the way home it was idling kinda funny around 2k rpms. Took it to autozone and I got P1705 P/N Signal Output Circut.

Now I know P17 is going into Power train, transmission.. but what the hell does the rest of the code mean? Asked around and talked to a couple of buddies and nobody seems to know. The closest I got to an answer was to clean my distributer cap. Anybody have any ideas on what's up? It's day 2 after getting stuck and it's running fine, and the CEL hasn't returned.

Probably the 2nd time if taken it through a small amount of mud.

Here's what the Mitchell Manual has for P1705.
