I've done a ton of full brake jobs on my rig. Pads and rotors. However, I can hear my pads getting near time to switch out. There is no pulsation, braking is smooth and normal. Given this information, I am thinking of going budget this time and just doing a pad slap. Has anyone else done this before? How does it turn out? I will be using premium grade full ceramic pads.

Pad slapping isn't the best thing to do, but I've done it on several of my vehicles without any problems. I usually pull the rotor and give it a little sanding while I'm at it.
