Both my bumpers will come bare.Is there going to be a big advantage in having them professionally painted vs me spraying a coat of primer then some Rustoleum paint? Will I get a lesser rust prevention protection with the Rustoleum?
ALSO gloss or flat black???

If it were me, I'd get em professionally done. Primed and powdercoated by someone with experience doing it.

I don't think a no-prep, rattle can job would look as good or last nearly as long. That's JMO. I'm no paint expert.

But unless they're really cheap bumpers, I'd let the pros handle em.

There def not cheap ones, and your right.Getting them painted prof is prob the way to go.Think flat or gloss paint.Im thinking a flat paint would look better on a Jeep,or maybe bedliner:D.
