I just recently got a letter from jeep saying a certain sensor wasn't performing correctly and was in violation of EPA regulations. Anyone else get something like this?

Emissions recall

I go this letter a few days ago.

Emissions recall E22- reprogram the powertrain control module and inspection of the catalytic converter.

In short "the powertrain control module (PCM) contains software that may not be capable of detecting a deterioating catalyst. This can result in failure to illuminate the on-board diagnostic (OBD) malfunction indicator light (MIL) warning the customer of a potential problem."
Also some catalytic converters may degrade and start to rattle, resulting in higgher emissions and illumination the (MIL).

Basicly I guess my Jeep needs a software update?
