In the last day or so Jeep (87 w/ 4.2) has developed an oil leak out of any opening if can find predominantly the oil filler cap. I did research and it was said it was probably bad pcv when I inspected it this morning I realized the pcv is connected to a T and part of it is not connected. 1. Where is this supposed to connect to? 2 is this the cause of my oil problem?

According to my FSM, after the T one goes to the Intake Manifold near the Carb (between the firewall and the carb) and the other goes to the Purge Canister. If the disconnected hose is leaking then yea that's ur leak. If it's leaking near the PCV valve then you probably got a bad valve or a clogged line.

But the FSM pic looks a tad incomplete so someone with a 4.2 could probably chime in more :)
