Here it is guys. The end result of my 4 inch RC lift. It took a lot longer than I anticipated. I live in Ohio, and the jeep came from Michigan to Ohio. That means rust, rust, and more rust. I had to cut a lot out. I cut the sway bar links, track bar, a front leaf spring, both back leaf springs, and a few other things. It became a really big headache at one point, but I still enjoyed it. The end result was really worth it.

As for my tires, I don't think the 31's look bad at all. I'm waiting to replace them because they still have some tread left, and my 33x10.5s will be coming towards the end of December when I get more hours.

Can't wait to get it aligned on Wednesday so I can really take it out and get a feel for it. Heh, my steering wheel is turned to the right when driving straight. I expected that anyways. The things that I'm actually liking is the lack of the sway bar in the front. I like the feel of it more, and I've taken some pretty tight turns to see if it made me nervous. I'll get a better feel when it's aligned right. I could change my mind.

Sounds good. Hope your jeep is rust free or that you own an angle grinder.
: )
Lol I wish it was rust free. Ive sprayed all the bolts and everything with PB blaster about 5 or 6 times so far. I'll do more next spring. And oh yes, I have a die grinder, angle grinder, and 2 other grinders that I don't know the names of lol. I think I am well prepared for this project. But my dad disagrees with the 4 inch and thinks a 3 inch would be better with 32s. Not too much of a difference to me lol.

MikeM, thanks for the pics! I have 31's coming in the mail, and just ordered a RC 4" lift and was wondering what it would look like. Next question is should I buy 15x8 wheels if I plan on getting 33's in the next 2 years. Should I put the 31's on stock wheels, and buy 15x10's when I get the 33's?

Go with the 15x8's. Perfect rim even for the 33's.

Agree...I'm running 32X11.5 on 15X8 steel rims w/no problems and a buddy of mine is running 33X12.5 on 15X8 and still no issues. Just make sure you have good back spacing and you'll be fine. Plus the 8" rims will make the 33s stand just a smidge taller than the 10" rims will...
