I have been wondering why one of my tie rods boots always wet. I assumed maybe the excess grease was just seeping out. But after couple months I decided to pump some grease to see if there was a leak.

And there it is, a pin hole. So far the joint looks good. I currently use Lucas Xtra duty grease. I ordered a replacement boot but my concern is should I worry?

Or I worry too much on a dust boot. THis is for the Steer Smarts tie rod. Last year I had same problem on the draglink boot of steer smarts on the pitman side. I managed to replace the boot and tightened the joint straight up instead of the tilted position. THat seemed to prevent the boot tear on the draglink.

I would NOT worry about it.
