at what piont of susp. lift is it required to get a drop pitman arm? I am a compitant fabricator so im making most of my kit but not sure about the need for a pitman mod. if so I'll buy one, no big deal
Well on a TJ you basically want to move to a drop pitman arm at the point when you have to add a Trac-Bar relocation bracket to your setup. For you YJ guys the steering geometry is a tad different as you don't need the trac-bar. I would say that if you lift your rig and are experiencing a lot of bump steer then you have stretched your steering to it's max and then the addition of a drop pitman arm would help you.
