Ive noticed when in 4wd and I cut my steering wheel all the way I hear a pop sound. Is this normal, or maybe I have a locker in the front im unaware of?

if you had an auto locker in the front(AUSSIE, etc.) you would know it when you had it in 4wd. The steering would be a little tougher than normal. And it full turn it could potentially pop a little. Mine does.

That's the sound of gears binding. Stay away from wheel lock turning in 4wheel. Light to moderate turning only and only on loose traction surfaces warranting 4wd.

What happened was we had some snow here and I used 4wd, then the plows cleared the roads and forgot I had it in 4wd on black top and that when I noticed the pop sound when cutting the wheel on dry pavement.. OOPS!
