Hi all! I’ve done some searching and I’m not quite coming up with anything. I have. 15 JKUR with about 50K miles. I’ve noticed over the past few months a couple of things. Don’t know if they are related or not or normal or not.

First is I can hear a whine when I take off from a stop. It seems to run up through first gear then goes away. Starts soft then gets louder then goes away.

The other might is little different. When I’m driving down the road and I touch the accelerator slightly I get a hesitation and a sound that reminds me of a carbureted engine. Back when cars had carbs on them and you hit the throttle it might hesitate and sound like it’s getting too much air, then rev up. That’s best I can think of to describe it. If I push down a little more, there is no issue and it accelerates with no problem.

Any thoughts of what to look for?

Hi Wrecker03,

We certainly understand why this would be concerning. If you do not receive any advice here and you decide to address this with your dealer, please let us know via private message. We’d be happy to have your concerns documented and connect you with a case specialist for an additional layer of assistance as you work with your dealer.
