To anyone who was visited by Sandy over the past few days:

I hope that you, your family,your friends, and your Jeep/Jeeps are all safe.

To anyone who had any type of damage physical or property.

I wish you a speedy recovery and best wishes.

I'm on Long Island and just lost power. Considering the amount of damage (Floods, fallen trees, fires etc.) I consider to be among the lucky ones. It honestly is borderline apocalyptic. Folks are walking around in a daze, confused and overwhelmed in terms of where to even start with the cleanup. I can't imagine what the folks in NJ coast are like.

I am glad to hear you and your family are ok and that everyone took the warning seriously enough to mitigate loss of life.

It will take time to come back to normal but it will.
