I can't trace any source of simply weeping higher up and following gravity. Should PS fluid be able to leak from this section of the gearbox?

Would it just suddenly develop? It went from parked for a couple days without ever even a sign of a class 1 leak to sitting (after my wife, granddaughter and I pushed it up in to the drive way to work on) to a class 3 leak.

I've had decent luck with Lucas power steering stop leak.

If that doesn't work, you need to clean everything then find where it's coming from. (Hose, or gearbox itself)

Interesting... the leak seems to have subsided.

After pulling it on to the driveway to work on prepping it for HEI installation, I had turned the wheels fully to the right to allow me better access under the hood and not have to fight the tires being in the way.

I straightened them back forward several days ago and have not seen any more leakage. Perhaps it was just under pressure in that position?
