I installed a new power steering pump 2 days ago. I bled the system properly (I think). I used AFT +4. The morning after the repair was very cold. I started the jeep and the steering was very stiff. Could hardly move the wheel. I let it warm up and after a few minutes the steering kicked in. Worked very smoothly. I thought maybe some air was still in the system, so I turned the wheel back and forth several times. This morning stiff again. I removed the reservoir cap and while turning the wheel, fluid overflowed, but the wheel was still very hard to turn. I let the Jeep idle a few minutes and the steering once again "kicked in'. These are some of my observations:

With the cap off/cold, I don't notice any flow in reservoir.
When warmed up I notice the fluid moving and steering is good.

somehow when cold it seems to me that there is a blockage in the system.
Any advice is appreciated.

I already have a thread started on my steering problem. Please disregard this one. Apologies...I'm new and didn't see my first post appear.
