Titles says it all - I'm looking at a 2012 JKUR, 43k, and I've had other Jeeps before, but nothing this new. What are the things to look out for, aside from the usual used car things? Underside looks OK, few scrapes where previous owner took it off-road, but nothing serious. How should I test lockers, disconnects, things like that? I found water on the passenger side floor, they are already working on that.

Any help is appreciated!

Check about the heads. See if they had them replaced. There was a recall for defective casting I believe in 2012. Check for water/rust in the jack storage area. No big issue there but it should tell you how wet the jeep got when caught tipped in rain.

Only way I would think to check lockers without getting in the mud would be to bring 4 jack stands to get all wheels off the ground unless they have a lift.

Take it for a test drive and run through a touch less carwash to check for leaks.

I'm sure others will have better ideas too
