Hey all i thought i would share wit u all some info about how ABS makes you fail inspection on a jeep with bigger tires (i have a 98.) Took me about a year to pass inspection and im sad to say endless mechanics visits after i could not figure it out myself. My jeep failed inspection every time for rear breaks. It turns out that the ABS is tuned for stock tires and is effected enough when you move up to 33's that it doesnt function propertly. Pull the ABS fuse to disable the ABS and you will pass inpection and stop much better on dry pavement anyway. I hope i saved someone else from my mistake!

Yea, personally I think ABS is a joke. I dont care for it. It caused me to run a red light in the snow in a chevy blazer. Thats why my TJ doesnt have it.
