Ok so I have a 04 Tj rubi, Auto with 48,XXX

Decided to check fluids yesterday and when I pulled the front diff fill plug...I saw this on the plug.

Is that way to much or....

Any input or advice ?

Did you just remove the plug? When was the last time you changed the diff fluid? If it were me, i'd take the cover off and inspect for further metal shavings, could be a sign of warn out bearings

Assuming the fluid's never been changed, it's not that bad. Unless you are hearing noises from your diffs.

However, I'd change the fluid in both diffs.

Your Rubi's diffs have drain plugs with magnets as well. If the fill plug had that much, the drain plugs will probably have more as they are on the bottom where the metal will settle.
