Hey guys
My buddy has an older 8.8 that he put under his Cherokee. It's the model with drum brakes. He bought it with a Detroit locker installed. Does anyone know how to pull the shafts? We r not sure what steps to take in order to pull the shafts. Any help is appreciated. :wavey:

All I know is you will have to remove the c-clips..Not sure the process to get to them though.

If you need to pull your c-clips, you'll need to pull your diff cover off to get to them.

No worries cave. He managed to figure it out. I dont remember exactly what he said, but I guess there is a square hole, and a round hole in the detroit locker, and one of them allowed him to remove the rod out of the center of the locker so that he could access the c clips. Thanks for all of the help guys. :wavey:
