Can the push to start feature in some of the new cars be hooked up to our wranglers. you can keep the key in your pocket and just get in and push the button to start the jeep.

You can mod one in, but you'd have to have the key on the ignition for it to work, so it's pretty pointless. Look up "mighty car mods push to start" on YouTube for a how to.

That's all that's really required to overcome any engineering issue..

Unfortunately, the most common 'material' used today is money..

Einstein said something like; the greatest obstacle to innovation is imagination. Once something is imagined/thought of, it's construction simply becomes an engineering issue..

If we humans survive long enough, we can live our dreams..

Yes you can. There are a couple different options, some more expensive than others.

There are a couple of kits that do they keyless fob, that will let you start the vehicle without the key when the fob gets into the vicinity. However, install is fairly involved and the kits are relatively expensive.

There is a cheaper method that will let you simply put a button in the cigarette lighter, you still have to put the key in the ignition for it to work, and they key will still turn the vehicle over. So it's kind of pointless. But it is super cheap.
