Just adquired it, questions started to arise...

1- When climbing and forcing power on the axles, I hear a loud "Click" on the area of the driver side, under the Jeep, closer to the rear driver side wheel ?
2- I need to install a Hitch, wonder whats available, will search around here.
3- When engine idles, Oil Press goes down to around 20-30 psi, when running, goes over 40-50. I guess that could be the normal range, but you know, this is a must know if is OK ?
4- Tires... I have 15' rims, low tires which are due replacement, want a bit higher size, but not wider, suggestions ?
5- Is there a Denim door which can be installed with the Hard Top, due to Puerto Rico`s Rainy Weather, I will like to have a removable doors that I can stow inside the Jeep underway.
6- Here is a good Q... I love ridding without a Top completely, How is the gas from the exhaust getting inside the cockpit on these Jeeps ? I remember on CJ5`s we always had to install side mufflers to exit right in front of the rear tires, pointing to the sides, that always cleared the "smoke in cockpit" problem. Is this the same on TJ`s ?
Anticipated THANKS !!!

1. Check your track bar (front and rear for play) or your controls arms may be loose or are in need of bushings or outright replacement.
2. I prefer to get a bumper with an integrated receiver to maintain rear clearance.
3. Normal behavior for a TJ.
4. 15x8 with 4.5" of backspacing is sufficient for 33x12.5 tires.
5. There are many aftermarket door options to fit your needs.
6. Exhaust is primarily an issue with a hardtop and the rear window propped opened. I run with the top down often and do not have issues.

Remember: your Jeep is rated to tow only 2,000 pounds maximum (and that weight requires only the driver to be inside the Jeep). I also vote for an upgraded bumper with an integrated hitch; furthermore, I suggest you select a bumper that is actually rated for towing.

My '98 Sport does the exact same thing. This is correct, normal behavior.

This will be a complete non-issue. I have owned five TJs, all of them soft tops that I remove all summer long. I've never had any trouble with exhaust fumes in any of them.
