i recently nuttered my 1989 wrangler and when iwent to set the the timing i had to advance it well past 8 degrees to get the engine to run smoothly. any ideas or comments on what reason or problem might be? thanks in advance for any help or info.

okay, thanks thats a lot closer to where it was. information i got had just said 8 degrees.
