Soa is fine for dd. Mine is. Fix your motor before you do anything. Also, soa is way more work than you think it is, i promise. I run 4.10 in mine and am happy. 4.56 from 4.10 is not a big difference and you woupd hardly notice. I would go with the 4.88.
