My jeep is a 2008 2dr jkx with 32"ish stock tires and maybe 75lb bumper on the front without a winch but otherwise stock.

I just bought a set of rs9000xl shocks to replace what came stock. I got the ##29 and ##30 shocks and plan on lifting with rock krawler mod 2.5 mod stock in the future.

I was wondering if relocating the rear lower shock mount bracket requires and different size shock. I was looking at metal cloak or EVO brackets when realized I may have made a mistake on the shock length.

Also is there anything I need to do other than install spring clips and create some extra slack for the brake lines?

Thanks

Thanks!

So I'll run these in the stock shock mounts until I lift; then relocate both the upper and lower mount at the same time to maintain intended extension length.
