Got some serious rain few months ago with no doors on and now my radio doesn't work. I've checked all the fuses. Even put in a lower amp fuse and it didn't even blow. It's like it isn't even getting power. Redid the ground connection since it had some rust. That didn't help either. Pulled the radio out and checked all the wires. One was disconnected, fixed and it still didn't work. I don't know what else to do. Is it possible that something shorted in the radio itself? How do I check that?

Let it sit a while... Sometimes they just get wet and take a few days to dry out. You can try a hairdryer if you want to speed it up. If it doesn't work, look into a new radio :( I have one from my 2002 wrangler X . Its a stock radio but have no scratches and works great. I just got a new one. Its ffor sale. If u need it PM me

First thing I would do is to check for voltage on the hot wire of the harness. If it's there, the head is probably toast.
