There a lot of people with the Rancho 9000 XL Shocks but not many with the Falcon 2.1 so you may not get many direct comparison responses. I own the Rancho 9000XL because I liked the option to adjust the shocks for my needs. You can get them at a good price when Rancho has their Shocktober Sale.

Downside to Ranchos is the paint is not very durable and some people that live in the snow belt have issues with the adjuster knob seizing up. I've had mine for a few years and knobs still work. If you off-road at all may want to turn the rear shock adjuster knobs toward the front of the jeep. They can get sheared off by rocks.

I can only speak for the Rancho 9000 shocks. I bought them 3 years ago and I have been very satisfied with them. I love the fact that they are adjustable so you can tune them to your own preference. Since I have had these on my Jeep, I have gone on several very long road trips and the Jeep road very well.
