Like everyone else who buys a Jeep the first thing we all want to do is make it our own. Im starting small, switching out the 130 factory with a Pioneer AVIC-8100NEX. Fairly simple install as shown by others, a few tugs and a few screws you have the dash apart and ready for the install.

Parts List:
Pioneer AVIC-8100NEX
Metra 40-EU10 Antenna adapter
Metra 95-6511 Dash adapter
PAC RP4-CH11 Vehicle to HU interface
SiriusXM SXV300v1 Tuner Kit
Wire connectors (basic crimp style found at multitude of places)

Tools:
Your hands to gently pull the dash apart
7mm socket connected to ratchet (~8 screws)
Wire stripper/crimper
Phillips Screwdriver

Total time about 90 minutes or so. The most tedious will be crimping the adapters to the Pioneer harness and running the wires for the GPS, SiriusXM, and microphone.

A couple of recommendations on the AVICs:
Apple CarPlay - make sure you are using the USB1 on the back of the HU
AndroidAuto (the x100 series) - make sure you are using USB2
AppRadio - connect to the HDMI port
I dont think streaming bluetooth music is allowed if connected by USB

Ive also got seat covers, quadtratec floor liners, and the smittybuilt soft top boot.

Thanks for reading and letting me share.

Guess I need to check on these more often.

Thanks for the compliment.

Rebel - was one of my dirt racing nicknames, definitely not Ole Miss. Bwahahaha.

Yes, Ive done all the aftermarket installs on Rebel. Thats one of the reasons I bought it - to have something to tinker. The Genesis set up, is really an easy install, took me a bit longer because I went slow and didnt quite have the right tools (my dremel was a bit too ill-powered). Being able to open the hood against the windshield a LIFESAVER on these things.
