I have stock 4.10 axles under mine from a 4cyl jeep, they work good, however the d35 is only temporary until I get the 8.8 i have sitting in my garage installed.

It's a shame you aren't closer. Just started the regear from 4:10s to 4:88s got both stock axles for sale.

Found a donor D30 and a Ford 8.8 took them to Adams Driveshaft for the work. Front is done just odd and ends next weekend I tackle the rear.

There are a lot of folks who do this so keep an eye on you CL and see what you can find. For sale threads and part outs. If you are patient you might score some 4:10s.

Google "gear ratio chart". U need to do the front too. Regearing the d35 is a waste of money tho..better off regearing front and finding a 4.10 8.8 rear

I am running 4.56 on 35's so I see no reason 4.10 wont work for you running 33's.
However with that said, my wife's TJ is running 33's with 3.73 and its a dog. 5th gear is pretty much useless. I plan on changing her gears to either 4.10's or 4.56 depending on if I go to 35's next tire change.

So with all that hub bub said, 4.10 will be OK with 33's and so would 4.56's
