My tj has the 8.8 rear end. It feels lose when taking any turns. I am new to jeeping and haven't ever been in a Jeep with this upgrade so I don't know if its part of it or not done well

lose as in the turning characteristics or as in like a motorcycle with chain slap?

Should feel stable.. I would start by checking all the control arm bolts, trac bar bolts etc.. check for worn bushing etc...

I would look at the track bar bushings. I had this happen on a ZJ w/ an 8.8 rear end and put off fixing it and I ended up costing me. The rear got out of line bending up my coil springs really bad. And eventually blew out a new 35" Mickey Thompson bc it was rubbing on the bent coil.

I got under there today and I have side to side movement in the top of the shocks what should I do

How do I do that. I really don't know to much about Jeeps.I'm 16 and this is my first car
