rear bumpers

Are you talking about the rear crossmember? There's the frame rails coming back each side then the crossmember is flat steel with some holes in it. It sits flush with the back of the tub. Any bumper/bumperette will bolt onto this. So if you need to replace this, you have some frame repair ahead of you.

Otherwise it should be just unbolt what bumper is there and bolt the new one on.

And a tj bumper will work. You might have to elongate some holes, but that varies from case to case. My xrc bumper can bolt onto a yj or tj. It just had some extra frame braces for a tj

Yeah im needing the rear cross member, im getting my shackle rot fixed as we speak and i got a new rear bumper but my cross member is so rotted i dont have places to bolt my bumper up to. Im thinking about making a new cross member out of 1/8th steel

Once I get out of school and have time I have scrap 3/16 steel so I plan on making on out of that
