Rear dash cam with soft top?

I recently acquired a nice twill soft top for my 2 door JK and plan on installing it in the near future. My only concern is where I should mount my rear dash cam (Garmin DashCam Mini 2) I thought about maybe the sound bar pointing out, but I don't think it will record the outside of the Jeep properly. My other idea was to prop it on the spare tire but I'm concerned about it getting wet.
