2000 tj with a dana 44. I have a rubber sounding squeel from my rear when I turn in low speeds like parking lots. Sounds like it's coming from the tires. Anyone have a clue? Sounds like your cleaning glass squeel

When was the last time you changed the rear differential oil? You might have a factory limited slip posi traction and need gear oil change and add some limited slip oil additives. When the oil viscosity brake down somtimes it make that sound when turning. The posi is trying to do its job and its the friction you are hearing.

I'll try that. Hasn't been changed since I've owned it. Been about 11k miles

I had the same thing happen with my '05. Turned out to be the CV joint in the drive shaft next to the transfer case. I kept missing the needle grease zerk on the forward u-joint.
