Finished my little project for the weekend and am very happy with the results..

Decided to mount a small light under my license plate. Where i live is SO dark at night (no street lights) and my driveway being kind of a maze i decided to upgrade my rear facing illumination. Also doubles as a signal to people behind me with their high beams on LOL

Who else has something like this - please share photos!

I went through the firewall via gromit that my clutch cable goes through. . super small drill and a steady hand made for the perfect point to run two wires.

Installed a on/off switch near the ignition

I had a pair of fog lights on the shelf. I put one on each end of my rear bumper on the '01 TJ and wired them to the back up lights. Lots more light for backing up now. I have a tractor work light on the back of the '64 with a lighted switch on the dash. No factory back up lights on the CJ in '64.
