Recently when I was in the woods tooling around, when my 1999 Jeep Wrangler rocked back and forth on rough trails, I heard a noise as if the bushings holding the sway bar were loose. But not sure. When looking at it with it up on a hoist, it isn't evident what is wrong.
My Jeep has 133,000 miles on it. Do I need new rear sway bar bushings, track arm bushings?
I also hear noise just going down a rough road. When I hit bumps it makes me think the shock absorbers may be bad, but they are new. So I'm thinking some bushings, or maybe only one is bad. But when I look at it on the hoist, I don't see it.
Anyone deal with this kind of an issue? Who would you recommend buying parts from for this too while I have your attention.
thanks,
Joe
