Hello,

I have a 92 Jeep Wrangler 2.5, 4 cylinder engine with 200,000+ miles that I'd like to have rebuilt by someone in or around Orange County, CA. I'm too old now to do this myself; however, I'd like to find someone who does great work at a reasonable price - someone who would do the job as I would do it. In the past, I've had Bolsa Engine Rebuilders (Westminster, CA) do the rebuild with the engine I brought to them. I was hoping to find a shop who would use them and take out and replace the engine. Any suggestions by forum members would be appreciated. Thanks.

Any reputable machine shop for auto engine work can handle that job. You should look locally and price the job for a full overhaul and flywheel resurface. Less than 2K more like 1650 should be a good price. If its a stock build no problem.
