i just installed a bestop replace a top and i love it. Quailty appears to be excellent, installs easy, and it has great easy to follow instructions. Most people on here would agree that if you're looking to buy a quality replacement top then bestop is tough to beat. I highly recomend spending a little extra to get a bestop.
from what I was told when my soft top hit a tree at 20mph....
pavement ends was the YJ OEM soft top. Jeep stoped using them with the TJs, and Best top became the OEM manufactorer.
Besttop replace-a-top is the best, followed by the besttop with the frame replacement, than the pavement ends. Apparently, pavement ends is better than the other options, but besttop is beyond compare.
Someone said it like this, if you buy a besttop, you are never going to say "I wish I got the Pavement ends one". You will say that if you get the Pavement ends instead of the Besttop.
