I have a 2008 JK that was just lifted. How do I reset the tire pressure warning light to avoid the annoying dings every time I start the Jeep. I disconnected the battery but did not work.

Drive it. TPMS normally takes a handful of miles for it to reset on its own. That's assuming you didn't damage the TPMS unit on the axle/hub assembly.

Well, if you are getting larger tires at some point, you will want something like a "Superchips Flashcal" or equivalent to make changes to your tire size anyway. So you may want to go ahead and get one right away. Units like this will also clear codes and let you set the psi minimum needed to trigger the TPMS warning. Just a thought....

A lift should not have set the TPMS system off, unless something went wrong or you changed out your wheels.
First question is "why is my TPMS light on?".
