Help! My 2000 is revving randomly when I am in park and while driving. Hasn't happened when in 4WD. Possible manifold seal leak- exhaust is loud. Could that be related? Just had the trans worked on. Thank you fellow Jeepsters!!

An intake manifold vacuum leak would absolutely cause higher than normal engine RPMs. Any vacuum leak can cause higher engine RPMs and most abnormally high engine RPMs are usually caused by that.
