Just wondering. Why did you convert to rear to leafs?

I did not build it..A company in Savannah built it and I traded a show winning 127 inch,180 horse chopper that I built for it..the leaf springs are long and it flexes great..it also handles and rides very good on the street

as I stated above,I did not build it but it also has a heavyduty custom traction bar under the rear.Perhaps this gives it a stronger platform to handle the power when climbing..

that was my thought,too.Yeah,when I pull up to a redlight beside a peterbilt,I can pretty much look straight across at the driver,but the drastically cut away fenders make it look like it is jacked a lot higher than it is.Here is a pic of the 3 jeeps we currently have for comparison.On the left is my wife's 89 with 3 inch body lift and 31's.In the middle is my 91 with spring over and 33's.On the right is my bigboy which is not a lot taller than the 91,especially when you deduct for the taller tires.To each his own but everyone that sees it in person loves it.If I keep it,I have no intention of lowering it because it handles and performs great as it is.Any of the three could be bought but they all run great so if I end up keeping them all,it's no big deal.I just wanted to sell one so I could finance building another one

Its just the economy man, bank prob won't finance that much on it even though it is prob worth it. And most people don't have the cash upfront for it. Good luck with the sale and hang in there it is one of the coolest rigs I have seen that is streetable. Free bump to the top.

thanks..yeah,it is tough to sell anything for cash these days.I have been offered land,trucks,harleys and all other types of neat stuff but dollars are hard to find and I can't see trading straight up for something that has less value in my eyes even if not to someone else.I know that the jeep will always start and perform good for me,that I never have to add any fluids between changes,gets me 16 mpg and is fun to drive,so,I will just hang in there as you suggest.
