I have a 2015 JKUR with the Tock Krawler 2.5" flex system and LOVE the ride. However since I put the BFG KO2 35x12.50x17 tires on it just seems like I need some more height. Having trouble deciding between these three options.

1- order 3.5" spring, rear lower control arms, rear swaybar links and convert to 3.5" flex. My only concern here is i don't really want my rear tire any closer to the rock rail and pinch seam than it already is. I did trim 1" off my factory rack rails and they are about even with the pinch seam now. Anyone know how much closer the flex rear lower arms will bring my rear tire into the seam? Anyone with a 3.5" flex system and 35" tires have any issues?

2- order 3.5" springs, rear upper and lower control arms moving the rear tire back 1" and just doing it right. If I do I need to install front uppers as well?

3- just order some flat fenders and call it a day?

Thanks in advance for your input...

I'm in the same boat here. I was thinking of option 2 with uppers.

There's another option. RK will supply on request a shorter set of rear uppers.
Run the shorter lowers out .25-.50 and use the uppers for pinion.

Moving the axle back 1 inch requires other modifications.
If anybody knows this stuff it'll be you Ken, but i have my uppers out a good 3/8'' and my lowers just shy of 5/8'' so the uppers can come back 3/4'' and then 5/8'' on the lowers. Do the specs RK put the CA's at get you the inch back? making it so you can reduce that 5/8'' on lowers and 3/4 on uppers? or am i extending 1 3/4'' and 1 5/8''?

I like my flat fenders with the RK 2.5" and 35's. You could also just add some 1/2-3/4" spacers to give a little more lift.

Its more than a inch i believe BUT. The arms being released now are shorter.'in the rear. I want to say 3/8 to account for changes jeep made to the rear axle.

The 3.5 flex rear lowers are set to stock run alone. I never really saw a purpose in them honestly.

The lowers in the X-factor kit are longer and meant to be run with the uppers (+ 1")
So I can run 3.5" springs with stock rear control arms?

What fenders did you go with? I like the Xenon's and the Smittybilts.

Thanks everyone for the help.

You are correct Ken, they were almost an 1 3/8" stretch, but we recently took 3/8" off of them due to seeing some newer 2 doors having issues with getting the coils proper in the rear.

To the OP a 4 door at 3.5" of lift is going to handle the additional lift better then the shorter 2 door driveshaft will. We still won't offer a 3.5" kit without all 4 lowers.

Well how can you argue with that...looks awesome! Ordered up some flat fenders and will go from there...thanks!

Understood...thank you.

Given you have a 4 door, you really dont need rear arms UNLESS Running a aftermarket driveshaft.
Gotcha...thank you.

Smart choice!! The 3.5" class of lifts are a great match for 35" tires but the additional mods they eventually require add up. The 2.5" + flat fenders is very effective and visually similar to the 3.5 lift.

Thank you...kinda hard arguing with the picture you posted. What size bump stops are you using?
