Posting for a fellow jeeper. They have a '07 Sport JK with a 2.5" AEV Dual Sport Lift. They recently installed the Rock Krawler Off Road Pro Tie Rod and Drag Link and will be upgrading to 35x12.5 BFG T/A KO2s in the near future. The Rock Krawler website shows that the tie rod requires at least a 17" rim with 4" backspacing or less for clearance. They would like to get away from using spacers, and are looking at wheel options. Anyone running this set up? Any wheel suggestions that are not beadlocks? Thanks in advance.

Benefit of Rock Krawler: aluminum and massive heim ends. I run it.

I would aim less than 4 backspace, especially if aluminum wheels. There are a few out there with 3.5. I have been eyeing Interco Birddog you can get 3.5 in a 17×9. Not a look for everyone, old school Jeep cool. There may be others.

The pro draglink is a flip. Your friend doesnt have enough lift with 2.5 to do it, so look for plan B.
