Any clear light will give you more than what you currently have and will be a help in night time off roading.

Just so you know, the pod has 160 lumens, but that to me isn't very bright. I have LED work lights on my truck and they are 1200 lumens, they do ok, but not what I consider to be very bright.

You want the fronts to shine to the sides, because anything straight ahead will be covered by the head lights. and the rears to shine at a 45* angle out the back corner. So that half the light goes to the side and the other half goes to the rear. Some put lights in the middle ahead of the rear tires, but they are mainly for show, since why would you need light in that area?
