Rock Sliders / Rails

Having searched everywhere for reasonably priced rock sliders in the UK or suppliers in the US that did not require me to sell a kidney to pay for shipping, I stumbled across a guy 10 miles from who builds stuff for Land Rovers

With some persuasion he agreed to custom build me some sliders and I collected the finished item today :):)

I've yet to fit them, but here are some pictures of them off the TJ.

Total cost (including fixing bolts) £87 (about $120)

Result:dance:

That is such a great price! Cheapest I've seen that look like that are at least 300. What are the specs on them?

Side tube is inch and a quarter outside diameter and the outer edge extends just over three and a half inches from the side of the truck (just slightly more than the fender flares). Base and side plates are three 16ths inch thick.

If you look at the second picture the rear of the jeep is to your right. The side and base plate cover wheel-arch to wheel-arch so the side plate actually tucks behind the rear fender flare and the tube runs from flare to flare.

I'm having a very similar set installed onto my TJ. They cost me 200 dollars installed and painted. But 87 pounds is very very cheap.

I stand corrected on my currency conversion, it is near $140. Still a good price though.
