How do you feel about roll bar padding? Do any of you like running with it off or on better and why?

I don't know. I kind of like the way the metal looks and it'll be easier to wash than the cloth. I took the carpet out of mine because it makes it easier to wash out the floor.

I never re-padded mine after the complete cage was welded in. Sometimes I worry about bonking the noggin, but it hasn't happened, yet. I need to get it covered.

I agree that the cage looks better without that lame factory padding but I've cracked my head hard enough on an unpadded cage that I saw stars and was dazed pretty badly for a minute or too. Some decent slip-on padding can be found in the plumbing/pipe row of your local Home Depot, Lowes, etc. They carry pre-slit high density foam insulation and most have pre-slit neoprene insulation too.
