Can anyone recommend a Roof rack base and basket system for a 2013 JK? Thanks for any help. 馃榾

Check out Kargo Master. Bolts on with no drilling and can hold around $500 pounds I hear. It isn't cheap but it's worth the money.

Check out Garvin Expedition Racks or Gobi Racks. I have a Stealth on order now.

No. I have not. Ideas? Want matte black, heavy duty. Thanks!
I may be biased, as I work for Front Runner but the quality and strength is unmatched.
The racks are all matte black, extruded aluminum, completely modular and are rated at 660lbs (distributed evenly) Every rack is shipped free to the lower 48 and is backed by a lifetime warranty. Feel free to check out the site and let me know what you think.

Here is the rack for your 2 Door JK

If you have any questions I'm here to help.

Good luck in your search.

I like the front runner load bar kit, but don't see a ski rack for it?

Can you still remove the Driver and passenger side targa tops with Front Runner rack installed?

Yes. There is enough room under the rack for them to slide out easily. I've done it a couple times and it's not difficult.

It says they are for the "roof rack". Not the bar kit, will they work with the bar kit?
there is absolutely no reason that It wouldn't work with the load bar kit. Each of the load bar slats is the same as the slats on the roof rack. Anything that fits the rack will fit a load bar kit. you can even throw a RTT up there no problem!

Couple questions regarding the Front Runner system. Can you still use windshield lights? Any issues with the hard top leaking after drilling? Can you remove the hardtop without removing the whole system?

You can totally still use windshield lights and brackets (we even sell some)!

Have not had any issues with leaking in over 1.5 years of use on our jeep. If you silicone the holes during install, it should make it even more water tight.

You can unbolt the brackets, remove the top and reinstall the rack topless or just leave it on the top for reinstall later. I need to do it soon and post pictures.

Let me know if you need anything else.

Not trying to be a knucklehead, but when I was looking for a rack system for my 2012 JKU, I had to be concerned about voiding my Jeep warranty by drilling into materials under warranty...I.e. the hard top.....Nothing against your product, but I decided to chose a less "risky" solution, albet a more costly one....Good luck to you which ever one you go with
