This weekend I've been installing a Cobra 75 with the connector in the dash.
While I had the dash out I'm splicing in a jumper for lockers at any speed, any t-case position.
I'm not worried about having it switchable for mod/no-mod, but what I'm thinking is to eliminate the factory switch and run dual toggles, one for the front and one for the rear and have the switch wiring interface the harness plug.
Has anyone done this, perhaps in a switch went bad scenario?

I did exactly that using 2 protected Kilby switches and followed the write up I found online. Independent control at any position. Only function the factory does now is light up.
