Rzeppa or...

Climbed under my jeep today to install Clayton arms and noticed the corrugated boot on my front driveshaft is torn. Sucks because it sucks, I'm only at 8k miles, and I have a TF high angle cv kit on my bench. I was hoping to not have to change DS.

So what is the life expectancy with that boot torn like that? Should I just look for a used rzeppa, get a TW or Adams? Does anyone know if they make a replacement boot?

Mine tore last year like that and I just replaced it with a Tom Wood's DS. 3.5" AEV with 35s. Been great ever since. It's also serviceable.

Yeah I sucked it up and ordered a Tom Woods today.

Good deal. You'll be happy with it even though you will hardly ever see it.
