I wonder why... oh, I remember now

... BECAUSE THEY CHARGE TO DAMN MUCH to attend.

screw em....

drop the admission price to a REASONABLE amount and I still doubt I would attend.

" Online registration has ended. If you would still like to attend Camp Jeep® you can register on site. The entrance fee is $395, cash and credit cards will be accepted. If you have any questions please feel free to contact Camp Jeep Program Headquarters by phone at 877-CAMP-JEEP, 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 a.m. EST, 7 days a week or by email"

Yall can attend Camp AmeriJeep for half that, and I'm not even trying to sell Jeeps.

Good luck with your petition, though. If it is important to my fellow jeepers, then I'll sign.

I attended Camp Jeep 2006, (first time), and found it to be a bargain for $395.00. Will sign the petition and contact Jeep customer service.

I have never been to camp Jeep...

But I sell cars for a living it falls during the busy season of the year.

We are just about to add a review and about 200 Photos from the event for the first time to our site.

The Jeeprs I talk to who have attended love it!

I will pass your request on the the folks that subscribe to our
news letter.

Perhaps after we add it to the JeepTales Website a few more people will think this an event worth keeping around.

LOL, Greg I think you adding Camp Jeep to your website just might be the thing that DC needs to keep it all alive. LOL :D

I probably won't ever attend one, but I signed the petition anyway. Sounds like a lot of people have fun there.

  • I have been collecting & sharing photos of the South Texas Jeep Jamboree since 1994. Thay have sold out the last 11 years.

  • We covored the 2005 Palo Duro Jeep Jamboree for the first time. They went from 3 years of 99- 103 Jeeps from 2002 to 2005....In 2006 thay had 155 Jeeps.

  • Last year we covored the Hot Springs JJUSA for the first time and as of last week JJUSA had sold as many spots as they sold last year. That event is still two months away

  • This year there were only 73 Jeeps at the Ouray, CO JJUSA we collected over 3,500 photos I bet you next year they sell over 118 spots.

  • The YO Ranch has exceeded their projections for every event since they split form Jamboree.

  • The high price of gas has been blamed for the loss of attendance to events like: Sturges and Aspencaide. Yet Jeep Jamboree is progecting a 11% increese in sales in 2006 over 2005.

  • I'd like to think we can help promote events, but only time will tell if JeepTales makes a differance.
