My Jeep has 540 miles on it and I got my first (I'm sure it won't be the last) scratch on it. Scratch is about 2 inches long. What is the best touch-up paint to use? Should I sand it down first?

Thanks for any advice!

Just get some touch up paint from the dealer and apply a few light coats until the scratch has been filled (using a toothpick works great). Then order some Langka Blob eliminator. Wait a few weeks for the paint to cure and then use the blob eliminator to remove any paint build up to smooth it out and you are done.

Not sure how bad it is, I got a bad scratch from the hardtop removal on the back corner panel and used a fine tipped sharpie, some polishing compound and wax. Not a perfect fix but did the job. I never could use those touch up paints myself

I always use touch up paint from the dealer. You can also wet sand it down and then buff out the scratches the wet sanding leaves. But as adrenaline said, Langka Blob Elminiator is easy to use and effective.
