Hey guys. Came out of work today and noticed a huge scratch on my window. Looks like someone keyed me? Theres cats in the parking garage I use but theres no way one would jump from the ground, hit the window and land on my top. Can anyone point me towards a thread on here that is on this topic. Or use a scratch remover (if they work)? Thanks!

Try making a paste out of baking soda and water, and use that to buff out the scratch. You can also try to use automotive rubbing compound or metal polish.

If you can feel the scratch with your fingernail then you can not polish it out. Janvil makes glass polish kits, but they are only good for getting rid of 'haze' or imperfections that can't be felt. And it is very easy to distort the glass surface when polishing it and sometimes you are left with slight polishing swirls.

Either live with it or get the glass replaced.

One other thing you can try is laying clearcoat in the scratch, then using a paint polish to smooth it. I have done this on a few deep glass scratches with some success.
